On May 18th, 2021, multiannual funding for the next 5 years of the i3N Associate Laboratory Statute with FCT IP was confirmed.
The coordinator Professor Elvira Fortunato, Director FCT NOVA Prof. Virgílio Machado, the director of the i3N pole in Aveiro Professor Florinda Costa, the Deputy Director Professor Rodrigo Martins and the i3N Manager Dr. Paulo Manteigas. On the part of FCT I.P. present, the President of the Board of Directors of FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Helena Pereira, Vice President of the Board of Directors of FCT, Professor Doctor José Paulo Esperança, Doctor Isabel Vitorino, Director of the Department of Support to Institutions (DAI) and Doctor Teresa Santos, Technician of the Institutional Support Department (DAI).
The i3N management would like once again to thank all members of i3N, teachers, researchers, technicians, administrators and students for the excellent contribution and above all for the excellent work they have done so that i3N maintains the status of Associate Laboratory thus allowing a greater strategy for the next 5 years allowing the hiring of career researchers and thus contributing to the future success of i3N.
