The article "High UV and Sunlight Photocatalytic Performance of Porous ZnO Nanostructures Synthesized by a Facile and Fast Microwave Hydrothermal Method" by the PhD student Sofia Ferreira, from the PD AdvaMTech and European project IDS-FunMat-Inno funded by EIT RawMaterials, was awarded with the Editor's Choice of the journal Materials.
This work is part of her PhD thesis entitled "Multifunctional metal oxide semiconductors presenting simultaneously transparency, conductivity and luminescent properties", supervised by Prof. Rodrigo Martins and developed at DCM, CENIMAT and CEMOP.
