During yesterday morning, April 14th , it took place the presentation ceremony and laying of the first stone of the new reference laboratory in advanced sustainable materials, the NANOVA.
The new laboratory aims to strengthen research capacity in the area of materials, with impact on technology transfer to various industrial sectors at regional, national and international level.
The ceremony to present NANOVA was attended by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, the Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa, the Secretary of State for the Interior, Isabel Ferreira the President of CCDRLVT, Teresa Almeida, the Mayor of Almada, Ines de Medeiros, the Rector of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, João Sàágua, the Vice-Rector of NOVA, Elvira Fortunato, and the Director of NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA, Virgílio Cruz Machado.
