Professor Elvira Fortunato, in INGENIUM Magazine, shared her opinions regarding the reindustrialisation process of the country, in an article on Engineering based on Sustainable Materials and Environmentally Friendly Technologies.
The article "The Success of Transparent Electronics", written by the Professor, explains how transparent electronics has gained special attention during the last decade, as a green electronics with potential to replace silicon in multiple applications of electronics, namely the one used for addressing and control of active arrays of flat panel displays. Today it is one of the key technologies for a wide range of applications, and is one of the most promising technologies for new products in electronics for communication and interface systems, with high added value, away from traditional silicon technology.
It is already available in issue 127 of INGENIUM Magazine, dedicated to the topic "Reindustrialization | Desígnio Nacional", is published in the Engineer's Portal, Magazine available here.
