Yesterday, 3 November, the hybrid format of the World Materials Day 2021 of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Materiais - SPM.
The Master in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering, Ivânia Trêpo participated with her thesis entitled "Transparent and flexible ECoG electrode arrays of metallic nanostructures for neural recordings" , this work was supervised by Dr. Joana Pereira Neto, Researcher CENIMAT|i3N. The Master saw her work distinguished with the SPM AWARD.
Also the Master in Biomedical Engineering, and current research fellow CENIMAT|i3N, Maria Morais participated with her thesis entitled "Glucose biosensor using nano-enzymes based on zinc oxide nanostructures" saw her work distinguished with the 1st HONOUR MENTION.
